Coming-of-Age Dreamer

A new creek is unbarred moreover,
For the vessel of his life,
Brooding over the spring he sailed as a rawer,
Passed years of score, a life’s trifle slice.

Bloomed beneath the roots of family tree,
As a gentle bud with warmth and love,
A vibrant season arrives, enriching the lea,
Sensations of youth, sprouts from now.

He shelters the dream behind his eyes, craving
As they’re brimmed with spirit,
Promising to keep the tears of hope from drying,
To reach the apex out of utter grit.
