A cow with a yellow tag,
Attached to her left ear,
Was running beside my car,
With the same speed among the traffic.
Is she a member of a protest?
signs the conspicuous tag,
Or are the numbers on it
The bout for her last hour?
Her gracious lips
That never tastes blood
Were quivering with her eyes
Wary to be safe on the busy road.
Her hindquarter that milk the world,
And later serves a delicious dish,
Issued tiresome twitches,
Sensing the threat for her life,
Where to run?
Buildings walls streets smoking cars
Everywhere, in every space,
Since escaping the shambles.
Isn’t there a small groove,
For her to escape from hostile humans?
Isn’t there a small square of a manger,
Where she’ll be kept for nothing but love?
